With over 20 years of experience
For more than 20 years, Vesirakennus Ojanen Oy has been implementing a wide variety of water and water basin renovation projects for the forest, oil and mining industries and other private and public clients in Finland, Sweden and Norway. Now the job description has expanded to also cover pipe and membrane welding for the various needs of customers.
How is the welding of plastic pipes carried out?
A customer, such as a city, an industrial operator or an individual, requests an offer for pipe welding and we calculate the price for the work. It can be a small job, such as welding a single seam, or a larger pipeline welding. The work is always carried out based on a plan drawn up in advance and with the welding method mentioned in it, i.e. socket or butt welding.
Welding is done on site. If necessary, we also deliver the materials to the destination.
How do we serve private customers?
For private customers, plastic pipe welding is usually related to municipal engineering, i.e. water pipes and drainage, for example. We can also implement smaller projects, such as pipelines related to irrigation systems. The pipe sizes and the selected welding method depend on the target and the plan.
Where did the idea for pipe welding come from?
Vesirakennus Ojanen Oy specializes in suction dredging of industrial settling basins and waterways. In suction dredging, excess mass is sucked from the bottom, which is pumped along pipelines to the ground. We have welded suction dredger pipelines suitable for our own use, and our professionalism has developed to such a high level that we are now able to offer the service to our customers as well.
